U.S. cyclist tests positive
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Associated Press
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) _ U.S. cyclist Amber Neben tested positive for a banned substance but is challenging the results.
Neben, of Irvine, Calif., tested positive for norandrostone at the UCI World Cup on May 31, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Monday. She received a provisional suspension that will give her credit for time served if her challenge fails. She can still compete if she chooses.
Neben finished 12th at the World Cup race in Montreal
I didnt know if you all had seen this. I just noticed it today.

She is saying she got it from a tainted supplement. It is the Scott Monninger defense. I think there is a lot of validity to the argument but pro racers need to be super careful.

If you are a professional racer then you have to know what you are putting into your body. No excuses, no tolerance, tough it out or don't go pro.

Easier said then done.
How can a supplement be "tainted" with norandrostone? I actually think she was taking a supplement with a precurser of testosterone and thought she could get away with it, but now she's finding she can't.
Too bad, but I think she knew what she was doing, just didn't know that others would find out.

I know I drank some Gatorade once that just happened to be tainted with EPO.
Honest.

Off-topic:
the slogan with the common good is definately no Nazi slogan (they would have used other terms).
It has itīs origins in works of social thinkers like Rousseau and others.

He doesn't care. The truth doesn't fit his agenda. But thx for pointing that out.

Addition:
The correct Nazi slogan was in german:
"Du bist nichts, dein Volk ist alles !"
In english its kind like:
"You are nothing, your people is everything !"
Just by the way. Letīs better forget that ****.

Though I understand forgetting, we must always remember. If we don't, the deaths of 6,000,000 are in vain... By remembering, maybe we can keep another Shoah from happening.

The sad part is, that alot of Hitler's ideas were genious. He is remembered for the things he did after he lost his mind. He could have easily been remembered as one of the greatest men of modern day history. He absolutely went mad however. It still baffles me, how an entire country can follow a mad man, blindly. The man should have been removed from power years before he started the genocide.

So now this individuals thread has been ruined by your off topic garbage which should have been in the form of a private message.
Of course your cleverly disgiused message effectively calling me some sort of liar shows what your agenda is all about as well. More useless jabbering.
My apologies that my sig line seemed to compell these folks to ruin/hijack your thread. Apparently the "new thread" function is a mystery to them.

It is a shame that the lure of drugs and such is so great that folks seem to accept the use of these substances on such justification.
Easier to take drugs than to perform well with natural ability is more like it.
Thanks Sam. I was about to remind people what the topic was about...
