Want to freshen up my Bianchi 15 year old frame but don't know how to go about getting paint match for Bianchi classic cool mint colour.

Have tried Bianchi themselves but with no luck?????

Why not buy some Celeste spray paint from them, and go to town? They have it at the Bianchi store, online.

How much,$? The kit they sell us is a two part process (two cans) and pretty exspensive.

If you are just doing touchups, you can mix it yourself from a few jars of auto touchup paint- only took me about 5 minutes to mix an exact match for the Celeste on my Campione D'Italia. You will need green, white and blue. If you want to respray the entire bike, find a good auto paint shop. They can mix to match, and even put it in a spray can for you. Or maybe you should let them paint the bare frame. They should be able to strip, prime, paint and clearcoat for you at a reasonable cost, they may even be able to heat dry it for you which will speed up the whole process. You can get new decals from Bianchi. The problem with getting the paint from them, besides the cost, is that about 5 years ago they made a slight change in the official color. Newer bikes have a little more blue in them. So, if I were to get some touchup paint from them, I would still have to "yellow" it up to match what is on my frame now.

Wow!
I thought the paint just changed with age.
Thanks for the info!

I have a Bianchi Veloce, 2003 model, and I went to a Bianchi dealer regarding touching up some of my minor scratches on my celeste paint. but the people there said that my celeste is differnt. i have about 3 different shades of bianchi celeste, which i didn't even notice until she told me. u have to look it up in the light to spot it. and bianchi only sells one color or bianchi paint. any suggestions???thanx

+1 on the car paint, what would be nice, is if bike manufacturers got together and used paint codes like car makers do, then you could simply buy the proper paint code. Paint codes could also be cross referenced, so for example if Bianchi's 8755921 is the same as Fiat's 2943856 you could buy what you need at the auto parts store. Actually that might be a place to start, buy a can that is as close as you can get. If your only touching up a few places then even close might be okay. If it's really really bad, then you should consider a complete repaint in whatever colour you like, and order new decals.
