Winter Cycling - Winter clinchers for Mavic Open Pro?

I know there's a million threads on this topic but the BF search function doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

I'm looking for a set of decent winter clinchers that will get me down wet roads with occasional snow. They need to fit on my Mavic Open Pros, which I think will accommodate 30s but I'm not sure about that. The Mavic site doesn't seem to specify widths. So if folks can recommend a decent tire - either 28s or 30s - that would serve my winter road purposes I'd be grateful.

I have 700x25c Continental Gatorskins on my winter ride. As long as there's a lack of ice on the road, they do quite well. I have also used similar tires in 28C with no problems. When the snow piles up, I have a different wheelset with 38C studded tires. I have found that the Open Pros aren't wide enough for the 38C tires, and tend to blow off above 40 psi. YMMV

This year I'm trying out the Conti GP 4 Seasons - they seem a little sticker than the Gators that I keep on the other set of wheels. If they don't perform, I'll be switching back to Gators on both or trying out a new version:

Panaracer Pasela TG Kevlar bead. These are very durable and relatively light, with more tread than most road tires. Easy to find for prices ranging from $25-30 each. Available in 700x28 and 32. Not sure if the 32s will fit Open Pros, but the 28s will because that's what I'm running on my commuter bike.

I use 700x32c Vittoria Randonneur Pros on my Open Pros for most of the year. Although once cross season hits, I switch that bike over to 700x35c IRC Mythos CX Slicks until Spring. I start commuting on the touring rig when the cross bike is set up for racing in the slop.
