Road Cycling - Is a (new, unbuilt) '05 Cinelli Aliante Frameset for $200 a Good Deal?

Pretty much what the title says... a friend of a friend who used to own a bike shop is offering me a "new old stock" 2005 Cinelli Aliante frameset for $200 bucks.
It has a Columbus Airplane front triangle, a Columbus Squadra full carbon rear (seat and chain stays), and a Columbus Carve full carbon fork. Everything is brand new and unused, just from 2005.
It doesn't appear to have the "curved" looking seat stays that the newer Aliantes seem to have when you look at the frame from the side, the seatstays look traditional and straight on this frame.
What do you guys think of the deal? Good frame or no?

anyone doesn't say yes is buying time for their background check to come through so they can source this shop and buy it from under you

I'd venture to say that $200 for anything Columbus, not to mention a little bit of carbon is a pretty good deal, especially unused. The new ones MSRP for over a grand, even with a couple of years this is a good find. What size is it? If you don't want it I'll take it.

Agreed. Airplane is good stuff. The carbon rear is a nice add, but even a full Airplane frameset with a full carbon matching fork at $200 is a very good deal. Despite what some marketing folk will peddle, neither aluminum nor carbon have had drastic advances in the last two years.
GVH sells this frame with fork in medium size for $1000. Sounds like a good deal, buy!

Thanks for the advice, fellas.
Just called the guy up and am heading over to his place to pick it up...
I'm also buying the wheels and components off my buddy's racer from last season for $1200 (Dura Ace, Mavic ES's and Deda stuff)... he's on this forum as well. I'll post pics when it's built! The whole bike will be $1400 total...

Wow. That's an awesome deal. If I don't find it first!
