SOLD: Extralite UltraClimb SP clincher shimano 9/10 wheelset; very good condition
* Compare new at more than $1,000 - $xxx shipped CONUS with delivery confirmation and insurance. Paypal only, please.
* 1180-1190g (per manufacturer and vendor, respectively) for a clincher wheelset! Extralite’s bike parts are generally very close to their published weights, but I don’t have a scale.
* Absolutely straight and true! Very good condition! They are only 3K miles and two seasons old. You will not be disappointed.
* Upgraded front and rear Extralite Ultrahubs hubs to ceramics (probably hybrid ceramics?) from Fairwheel Bike (~2K mi)
* The OEM front and rear Extralite Ultrahub bearings will also be included in the sale (~1K mi)
* Spoke count is 24 front and 28 rear. A handful of OEM front and rear spokes (allegedly Pillar 1422 TB Aero) will be included in the sale, too. I didn’t need them, but they’ll be nice to have just in case of a crash.
* Schwalbe Ultremo clinchers with Vittoria light butyl tubes mounted front and rear (~2K mi, the front is still good to go, but you would definitely want to replace the rear)
* No cassette and no quick release
* I’ve (finally) upgraded to a set of tubulars and want to pay myself back, so these have to go.
* As a possible trade, I’m looking for a new in box Extralite new QRC 170mm (don’t exist, right?) or 172.5mm English compact crank OR Pulsion Stronglight Acti-Link 170mm (maybe 172.5mm) English compact crank with new wider weave OR … if you can get one cheap or have one, let’s talk!
* PM me for tons of wheel pictures!
