search seems to be down for me. I search but then no results, just a blank white screen. tried both narrowing and widening search results.

Help please.

There have been considerable problems with the internal search function for a while. I know someone will come and explain it, but this was the latest news, on the 18th:

"The index rebuild is currently incomplete. The techies are going to be running the rebuild as server load allows. This process may take a few more days, not sure on the exact ETA on 100% completion as it will depend on when they can pound on the database without causing the site to become unusable."

In the meantime, try this:

Go to Google.

type in

site:bikeforums.net

fill in your search terms

ie

site:bikeforums.net deathhare

And this is what you get:
