Fifty Plus (50+) - Woo Hoo, just came home with some Under Armour

OK, I do NOT have the most athletic body but, man, are these nice.
Tights and a long sleeve shirt. One for over the shorts, one for under the jersey.
Got one of the little UA beanie thingies, too. I am ready to ride.

Under Armour tops are my standard base layer for 3, and sometimes 4 seasons.

I just got one of their compression Ts for under the jersey. The first time I put it on I thought I was going to have trouble breathing. Then it seemed to loosen up and now I really like it. I've used it on a couple of rides and it does a great job of wicking and keeping me warm. It fits like a second skin.

The ColdGear stuff they make does work but I think it is overpriced and the only place(Dick's Sporting Goods) that sells it never puts it on sale. Wally mart had a similar cold type shirt that works just as well at about 1/2 the price of Under Armor stuff.

Under Amour also makes "Loose Gear".

Shhhhh. Don't tell the UA people that cyclists wear it or they'll raise the price even more!

My wife gets it at a discount where she works and its the best stuff ever. I was hoping to keep it a secret. The "Cold gear" makes cold weather riding almost tolerable, and that "beanie" is the best thing ever for riding in the heat.

I have the cold weather tights and shirt. I love the tights but hate the shirt. It has a mock turtle neck and it feels like I'm being choked. I've worn it once and it now hangs in the closet gathering dust:(

I don't doubt that... I had the mock turtle in hand and was wondering how that would work under a fully zipped jersey.
Then I saw the long sleeve tee and that was the end of the mock turtle.
Of course, now we're about to go into a warming phase and I probably won't get to wear the new on-som-bluh

After I pulled an Under Armour XX Large top off the shelf, and it looked just the right size to fit my Chihuahua, I could never bring myself to try on any of their stuff. Guess I need to look again......

I just got home from TJ Maxx and got long sleeve UA at 1/2 price!
They're a cheapo outlet that every now and then has a top or two. I lucked out today!

Thanks for getting the weather changed for us- I have heard that some are experiencing temps above freezing right now and that the Black Ice is melting on the roads.
