Hey, I'm George. Just after my 13th birthday last year, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Since then, I have gotten into serious road cycling-- and love it! I use an insulin pump to manage my diabetes, but wouldn't a cure be much better? Through some research I found the Tour De Cure. It gives me an opportunity to ride my bicycle and help raise money for a cause I'm passionate about. Now, I need to raise money for the event. Every dollar counts and will be greatly appreciated by not just me, but the millions of other people who are affected by diabetes whether they have it, or a loved one has it.
