Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Any ideas for mounting trad flashlights to bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
There are so many neat and affordable lights available now in the hardware and camping departments, I am tempted to try them on my bike.
Does anybody have ideas for mounting a traditional shaped hand-held flashlight to bicycle handlebars?

Zip ties work. Use a small piece of plastic/rubber tubing (or a cut up piece of old tube) in the front between the light and the bar to prevent the light from slipping when you hit bumps, etc.

The twofish lockblock works well. The new Fenix bike flashlightmount looks good but has some weaknesses as noted here as well as the modifications that purchasers have made. There are plenty of other alternatives but the twofish lockblock is probably the simplest, cheapest, and most effective.

Try this. http://youtube.com/watch?v=HrfZhEzjWwg It will cost you the price of one old worn out inner tube.
