Anyone using the CygoLite Hi-Flux 100? I saw on the harriscyclery page that on it's high setting it makes enough light to see and be seen. It's also relatively inexpensive compared to the dinotte.. Thoughts??

These are OK for the road with the biggest advantage being the long runtime. I do not have any dinottes, but they should be far brighter.
If somebody knows how to open up the Hi-Flux housing to perhaps upgrade the LED ????

Upgrading LEDs is possible; however, when you're dealing with high-powered ones like the ones described here, being able to properly heatsink the LED and so forth is necessary. As such, it's not like with regular bulbs where a simple substitution would do.

The first problem is to open the housing, without breaking it. Does not look easy.
Would you have any advice for these cygolites?
