Sorry, but that's the only way I can get people to pay attention to this announcement. Anyway, Joe had Koffee as his most trusted co-conspirator, so I figured I better make sure that the women of the forums get some representation at the administration level too.
After some careful thought, (not really, she's been doing it a while now) I decided that Donnamb would be the best choice. Mostly because she's already got access to most of the admin cpanel anyway. :p
So there you have it. Congrats Donna.
And happy holidays to everyone as well. Please stay warm and safe this holiday season. No drinky/drivey, we want you all back in 2008.

Well, I know...perhaps after I meet her in person I will stop being so formal :p .

Good, bring some level of sanity to the Admin level.
I kid, I kid! Happy Holidays to the Admins, Mods, and of course all of BikeForums! :D
Good, bring some level of sanity to the Admin level.
There goes YOUR present, Mister!
:roflmao:
Now, who can Brian and donnamb* assign to you as your 'personal project' for the coming year ;) ?
East Hill
*Oh, sorry...Donna :o ...:D .
Good, bring some level of sanity to the Admin level.
If you put Cuda in a straight jacket, he will type MUCH slower.
Yay Donna
"I had a an admin, and Donna was her name......since she met me, I've never been the same....."
So wait. She's really the one that taught you everything, isn't she, Brian?n Uhhhhhhhhhh huh. *nods head*
Congrats, Donna. :)

I taught her everything she knows. I just didn't teach her everything I know. ;)

Does this mean we still can't overthrow the despotic government here which is plotting to repress...uh...'certain oppressed members' who think there is a moderator conspiracy against...uh...well, 'certain oppressed members' as per a recent Foo thread?
Did that make sense? Didn't think so...
:roflmao:
East Hill
I don't believe in conspiracies unless instigated by the federal government. ;)

Like this (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=96298) one :p ?

Congrats Donna - I think. Of course, this may be an indication of a deeping of a mental condition. First, being willing to be a moderator, second, allowing yourself to be an admin. I assume, based on Joe's decision, the final promotion is to flee to a latin american country.
Should I be looking for a place for you yet?

Off to CycleForums for me....
I dont know what the radical, far left DemLib agenda is
here but you have clearly gone over the top with this decision..............

Donna
Thanks, all. Would a conspirator ride around on a bike like this? I think not!

Well done.
I love what you've done with the Breezer too.

She doesn't even know about our agenda regarding conservatives. ;)
Congrats Donna. But I do miss Koffee.

Do you want cream with that?
East Hill
Liar, nobody misses Koffee.
Wow, you crazy girl. Congrats?
If you put Cuda in a straight jacket, he will type MUCH slower.
I suspect Cuda will learn to use the nose very adeptly in that case!
From all of your posts I've ever read, Donna, I can honestly say you are very adept and in no need of employing your nose to type. It's a great gig, have at it and thanks for a job well done.
Uh, I hate to admit this, but I thought Donna was an admininstrator.
As usual, I was wrong. At least I am right about Cuda and Marfty being the Underwear Nazi and A.Troll.

She's had most of the mad skills, I just figured it was probably time to make it all official-like.
...and I'm sure she's makin' the BIG bucks that the other male admins make, right?
(there is only one right answer, you know.)
Thanks, all. Would a conspirator ride around on a bike like this? I think not!

Donna is that bike SS? Or internal drivetrain?

Her pay has been doubled. ;)

May I use this quote in the next thread about another conservative that is banned?

No, because that would mean that you're taking it seriously. Keep your conspiracy under your foil hat, ok? ;)

When everyone had access to the Women's forum (in the old days) there were a few witty threads that the guys enjoyed immensely.
Now, how do I get access? I could use a good laugh. ;)

You will have to get rid of any excess Y chromosomes.
And we're serious in there now. VERY serious. No funny stuff whatsoever :) .
Right ladies?
East Hill
What goes on in the Women's Forum, stays in the Women's Forum. ;)
There's plenty of laughs on the SoCal Forum!
At least, I think there is... :D

It's gotta be internal, look at the size of the hub.
Although I cant see a cable.
Front hub's the same size, oddly enough. That's why I asked.

She's either got the generator hub, or drum hub. Maybe both. I don't know much about bikes.

A red-band Nexus 8. :)
Her pay has been doubled. ;)
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: Let me be the first to assure the concerned that there is complete pay equity on Bike Forums. ;)

Generator in front, hub gear in the back.
Liar, nobody misses Koffee.
I do.
Seriously. I wish she could come back. The forumz will never be the same without her.
Congrats donna, I am sure you will carry the torch well...

Donna, in this picture the saddle looks to be pointed upwards. Do you ride it that way and is it comfortable?
What does the “mb” in your handle stand for?
Congratulations on the Mod/Admin job. You’re doing a fine job. ;)

Donna's busy at the NAHBS, so I hope she won't mind my stepping in...the 'mb' stands for Amber (Donna's middle name).
I think 99.9% of us would say Donna's doing a great job. Course, I am now prejudiced, since I got to meet her in person yesterday :D .

A couple of us were at the Oven last night crying in our wine about missing that. :(
I want to hear all about it...:D

wrong, but in the interest of Donna's privacy, that's all I'm gonna say
