Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Am I the only one???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Sometimes my username is red when I'm not even logged in. My computer will be shut off, I'll come on bike forums at school or a friends house, and my name will be lit up before I even log in.
And also, sometimes I'll be logged in, but I won't click remember me, and then I will get logged out automatically after half an hour or so.
Does this happen to anyone else or am I just weird?
This requires a scientific studyl We will need to recruit a sample of posters. Let is finally get to the bottom of this mystery!
I have posted red and now let us see what happens after I edit it!
It stayed red!

You could always get a friendly mod to check to ensure the ip is the same as th eone you use at your place. It could just be the "timeout" of logging out from bikeforums. I personally wouldn't be concerned, unless the ip is different, and that takes a couple of seconds for a mod to cross reference. I have noticed it on other forums more so than this one.
Wait - when the usernames are red it means the person's online?
Damn, learn something new everyday...
