Designed to bolt to the front of stem,
The store says they are fragile and gives an extra one because, "they will break"!
I've ordered a couple at that price & I'll let everyoneknow how they work to mount a Dinotte.

Yikes --
Is there already enough of a gap where you could insert that bracket and not interfere with the clamp interface at all?

I think the idea was to put the mount outside of the stem. So the screw would go through the mount and then throught the stem. I recieved the package today. I ordered & paid for 3 mounts and as advertised they sent 6. I can see where if mounted using the stem bolts they might break due to the torque necessary to hold down the bar. To use them to mount a Dinotte light by attaching to a rack or using a stap & place it on the seat post, the mounts feel pretty sturdy! It totaled 21.85 for 6 mounts including shiping.
