Hoping one of you mechanics out there will know what size front derailleur clamp fits on a 1996 Trek Y-22.
Thanks!
I would have expected a Y frame Trek to have a braze-on type derailleur. Are you sure you need a clamp-on?

If you search pics of them they all show clamp type frt derailleurs just can't tell if they are 31.8 or 34.9mm without having the frame to put a micrometer on.

This is just a guess but, based on all of the other Treks I've owned and worked on, I'd put money on the clamp being 34.9 mm.

I had a Y-22-my memory say Hillrider is right-34.9.Now I do remember that the Y-22 had a different style 34.9 than the Y-50.They were both 34.9 but one was was top swing, one was bottom swing. Both top pull,I think.
34.9 I'm sure now that I thought about it.
