Pacific Northwest - Oregon Share the Road Plates

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Good news! The Oregon DMV will begin selling the share the road plates beginning January 2nd. The money from the sale of the plates will benefit BTA and Cycle Oregon, so will help with bike education and political action of interest to cyclists. Available at your local DMV office!

Good I just moved to Oregon and have to register my car anyway. Can't wait to get rid of my Indiana plates!

Cool! Washington also has these plates: http://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/spshareroad.html. Apparently the Bicycle Alliance of Washington is the beneficiary of these plates.
