Texas - HEAD COUNT: DFW Holiday Get-Together Dec 28th 6:30pm

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Please reply with a number if you're planning on attending on Friday. I'm going to get a rough head count from the other thread, but a definate Yes/No would be helpful when I give BJ's the number of people! Thanks, and see you all Friday!

In for two - but you had better confirm that they have some IPA available or heads will roll!
Cuda, you hear from David? he thought he might show up.

PM me if you want my cell number. I'll try to be wearing my Campagnolo or BikeForums T-shirt and/or a cycling cap.

If it's not too late to RSVP, my hubby and I will try to join you tonight. We are total newbies but maybe some of y'all's collective wisdom will rub off on us!
Barb and Ron Suiter
zig, shouldn't be too difficult to pull up a couple extra chairs. I made the reservation for 12 to account for a few extras.

Thank you, Jon, for organizing tonight's get-together! Ron and I had a great time meeting some other area riders, and look forward to seeing y'all again soon. :)
Barb
You are very welcome Barb, great to hear you had a good time and it was good to meet you too. Once the weather warms up I'll try to get a ride organized for all the BF members in the area. Something like a few laps around WRL, lunch, and then if anyone wants a longer ride we can head out from there for a longer distance to satisfy as many fitness levels as possible. :)

I hope I speak for all those from the 'Ladies Corner' when I say, "Thank you, cuda. We had a great time."
BTW, my wife did get a kick out of the fact that I ended up chatting at the non-biking end of the table, for most of the evening.
The snapshots I took didn't really come out that well, but if anyone wants a copy, just let me know.
