Northern California - Where to donate old bike in Silicon Valley?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am getting a new MTB, my old one (Specialized Hard Rock) is going to be too expensive for me to bring to good shape, so I want to donate it to charity. Any suggestions?
Although I don't think they are in Silicon Valley... try contacting these guys: Cycles of Change (http://www.cyclesofchange.org/)
Or try emailing Ed So of AP Cycles Community Bike Shop at firstname.lastname@example.org He's actually the one that told me about Cycles of Change.

Isn't there an organization called bikes for tots or something like that. Someone told me about that, but I can't find any info online. I prefer something in the South bay, I don't really feel like driving up to Berkeley.
