Charity Events - Tour de cure 2008 orlando fundraising thread

hey guys, on february 24th 2008 ill be riding 100km (62 miles) on my road bike for the american diabetes association. In order to do so i need collect donations to said organization to ride. So im asking you guys to please donate a couple bucks to the ADA using the link below, and if you cant afford to donate please send the link to some friends or family. thanks again guys, this is a great organization and im proud to be supporting them and riding for them. Ill post how i do afterward of course.

most definatly, i just got 2 more hours of tattoo work on my full sleeve so a crash would be detrimental to it....im gonna take it nice and easy :D have you been to the main tdc site lately? says the domain expired......

Yeah, and I have email and phone messages in to the Indianapolis Office. I imagine it's going to be addressed Monday......

I just found out about it today. It also seems to be affecting my blog as well, maybe since I get the redirect on it to the diabetes.org page. I have a lot of ADA links up there, so that may be what's causing my issue as well.

NOW :D lets see ride went great, got hooked up with a group of 4 for the first 35 miles....girl i was tagging had a blow out in in the process of getting out of way i hit either a curb or pothole and stopped off further down the road to check for damage. no damage so i hoped back on and didnt see the group i was riding with again. came to the split for the 70 and 100 milers and was alone the next 35 miles of the ride. head wind wasnt too horrible, and hills were non existant. great ride! loved it! cant wait for next year :D

sorry guys wifey left after i started to visit my mother who lives near by and i finished about an 35-45 minutes quicker then i thought i would so no finishing pics....
