Hello & thanks for your help.

I am interested in building a pair of wheels with the Sapim CX-Ray spoke. However, it is quite pricey here in the States: $2.25/spoke without nipple. By comparison, a DT/Swiss revolution costs $.70 and comes with an alloy nipple. Two wheels worth of CX-Rays and S.I.L.S. Polyax nipples will cost me $164.00 USD. That is more than I can afford.

I am told these spokes and nipples are far less expensive internationally. I wonder if you would be so kind as to let me know what the best price is in your country and the name of the retailer who provided it. I'm primarily interested in French, English, and Australian prices.

I may try to buy them directly and fund the purchase with a credit card or PayPal. However, if that doesn't work my brother has offered to help. He makes an international trip or two a month. He frequents France, England, & Australia the most. He will ask the concierge at his hotel to arrange for purchase if the prices are better.

I am ignorant about EU policies. However, while my brother's in a French hotel I suppose that the concierge could order from a retailer in any of the EU countries. Is there anything I am missing here?

Thank you very much.

Total Cycling (http://www.totalcycling.com/)
has them for $34.10 per pack of 20 including the polyax
nipples.
Total Cycling ships to US and has good prices on alot of
items, never heard of anyone having problems with
