Hey Tony!

How are you? Glad to hear that you are still riding ( so your health issues must have been resolved)!

I still ride the SGRT and the street...

Maybe you could organize a little ride? Or get Herb to?

This thread brings back memories...:)

Good idea!! Yes, my injuries healed. Right now I'm training for the Cool Breeze in Ventura so I'm trying to get some miles on my legs. I'll try to put something together.

I will be at CB as well....probably in an SFVBC jersey

Hey guys, my name's Mannuel and I live in Baldwin Park about 3 blocks from the Santa Fe Dam. I ride a lot but don't really know any other roadies over here. I'm fairly fit but have no prob going whatever pace the group wants to go. I'm free a lot during the week and I don't mind riding in the heat/cold/head wind/whatever so let me know if you want to join up for a ride to the beach or a climb to baldy village.

Mannuel, why don't you check with Stan's Bike Shop in Monrovia for regularly scheduled group rides, or check for a club in the area.

I rode with them last week I think, very nice bunch. I know of plenty of team/club rides I'm looking for more people who like to ride before or after work. I ride a lot during the week around 9am and later. A lot of the club rides have an early start time, a little too early for me.

hello all... first off i should introduce myself, i am william. i ride the sgrt pretty regularly.. nearly every weekend.. i usually hop on the trail around the rosemead/garvey intersection. sometimes i go north to santa fe dam, sometimes i go south for long beach. i'm down for some group rides. the group i ride with had some people move away so the group is kind of dying so if someone wants to start a new one i'm game to join. =)

maybe you've ran into me too... i'm on a black cannondale and usually wearing my long sleeve plain white cannondale jersey. regardless of heat i'm always in that long sleeve, hehehe trying to avoid spreading the massive tan lines. hopefully something forms or i'll see you guys on the trail!

I don't know if this thread is considered "dead"...

What's up, my name is Ken. I'm fairly new to road biking. All my friends who do ride all prefer mountain biking. If anyone in the area, ever wants to ride on the road, let me know. Not sure where to go to look for rides, as I'm pretty new to this.

Furthest I've ridden so far is 26mi (Mountain to Sea trail in Irvine). I try to bike about 40mi weekly. Would like to ride more trails.
