I would like to buy a bunch of stainless bolts. Anyone have any recommendations for on-line places that are not too expensive (especially if bought in bulk)?

Or non-on-line places, for that matter. The local big box places have almost no selection and are very expensive.

thanks,

jim

Boltdepot.com has just about anything you might want. No minimums. Not sure how their pricing compares -I've only bought small quantities of bits I couldn't find locally - Ace Hardware has a fair selection of SS nuts, bolt, screws but the big home centers - Lowes, Menards, Home Depot - have very little.

Bike Tools Etc sells stainless steel bolts in typical bicycle sizes and configurations in bags of 10 or in a large assortment of various sizes and diameters. The prices are ok but not super bargains.

Check your Yellow Pages under "Fasteners" to see if there is a specialty shop or industrial supply house near you. The prices for each piece should be lower but plan on buying boxes of 100.
