Nice write-up with photos. I wish I had done something like that. But alas, I feel prey to the holiday calorie binge and only got in trainer miles and two short outdoor rides.

Seems like you and the other Neil have found a bit of bad luck on the rides you do together. You were brave to do a bike tour in Pennsylvania in December!

Maybe a hand-held GPS would be a good thing to take on future tours, so you could locate your hotel and get directions to it? Just a thought...
