Can anyone recommend a group ride for Sunday mornings in Austin? I'm visiting a friend there this evening, and rather than sit around Sunday morning while everyone else sleeps in, I thought I would get a ride in. I'm looking for something in the 30-50 mile range, moderately paced (18-22 mph)

hi-
bicycle sport shop's austin flyers host a sunday ride. 8:15am, wheels down at 8:30. slow and fast group, no drop ride. 517 south lamar. road bike is a better choice and helmet is required.
also, you can google austin bike mojo and check that forum out, there;s usually some kind of road ride going on.

Thanks, I joined the BSS ride this morning, went to Buda and back for a total of 30 miles. It was lots of fun and I recommend it to anyone visiting Austin!
