I am very interesting in starting Track racing. But, I need advice in how to train and go about getting into races. What do I need to do and what is a good way to train? I have an "ok" bike, that I plan of upgrading piece by piece.

I have rode bikes my whole life, especially when I was little living in Orlando. I was in marching band all through high school so I use to be pretty in shape, and now I am in my first year of college (everyone knows what college does).

So...help is needed. Thank you.

This question was answered one thread down.

get a road bike and start doing as many group rides as you can.
take classes at your local track.

Track racing is about control and technique, so learning to ride in a paceline or in a group is very important. As Dutret says, lay down some base miles away from the track. Good luck!
