Probably the last ride of the year and then a 2-month layoff to rest a lot of little aches. East Side MUP, Central Park, West Side MUP, Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. Saw a decent number of other bikers including 2 recumbents.

Braved 1st Ave for the first time, and found it pretty doable, though hairy in spots. Does anyone know the legal status of the "Bus Lanes"? -- because they seem to be the best spot to bike on some of those avenues.

Really nice day, maybe 45 degrees, crisp and clear to cap off the season.

I ride in the bus lanes but then again so did a lot of cars. Meant to get out today but people came over before I could.
