I wanted to find out if bicycles would be represented in this year's Rose Parade so I Googled the Tournament of Roses site. It looks like these floats make use of them:
Sierra Madre's "Valentine's Day" (http://www.tournamentofroses.com/media/mediaGuideFloat.asp?id=389)
Cyclists costumed in Victorian attire will accompany the float. They ride antique penny-farthings and bicycles-built-for two. The decoration of these bicycles recreates the look of bicycles featured in early Rose Parades near the turn of the century.
Santa Fe Springs' "Celebration of Life --- Dia de los Muertos" (http://www.tournamentofroses.com/media/mediaGuideFloat.asp?id=457)
Costumed skeletons riding upon floral bicycles complete the scene.
Are any fellow cyclists attending?
