Southern California - 2008 UCI World Cup

I can't decide between seeing this, or doing the charity ride earlier in the month.

I'd see the World Cup. There are charity rides almost every week, whereas the World Cup isn't too common.

That's cool. I've been there the past two years, and it was great.

i went last year and it is teh awesome.

i'm volunteering this year through my club and will have an all access pass plus free admission when i'm not working the races.

i hope to steal....er....touch a look 496 track bike/frame while i'm there.

Extreme weather. Rain is expected next weekend. Too soon to know about the 12th yet.

BTW, thanks for a great ride this Saturday. Santa Monica Mountains were greatly enjoyed by all of us.
I hope we can do the same ride next year but maybe you should ride with us.

sat night is most likely to sell out.

Session times are changed for the morning sessions and Sunday's afternoon session. There are so many riders they had to add more qualifying heats.

No i think thats the track frame that retails for that much. Thye do each of those custom order and only make a few hundred a year. The frame up above is also their tt frame.

I think kids might be discounted. If they have racing licenses, they're free on Friday night,

I was there Saturday night. First time seeing it in person. Was awesome and I look forward to going to other events. Nice to see the house packed and few seats empty!!!
