My girlfriend and I went to I Am Legend last night. What an incredible dissapointment. They took a great story and failed to produce good entertainment. This was the worst rendition of this story. The Omega Man from the 1970's was far better. The abrupt ending also left everyone in the theatre saying Huh?.... Please use your money more wisely and see something else.

I think the first half of othe movie wasn't half bad. Will Smith is a decent actor but everything went downhill very fast. I was watching it thinking, it's only a hundred minutes long and we haven't come close to a resolution yet. Then I realized why and gosh, it seems like they used up all their budget and had to cut out chunks of plot becuase it was a pretty pathetic ending.

I woudl be curious to hear from people who read the book. Is it close to the book or closer to the original movie (which I didn't like), I am hoping it does a better job of emulating the book than omega man.

They all missed the mark badly. Tho' from a friend Omega Man was the best of the lot and it was sad.

The book, movie,(Vincent Price, Charlton Heston and Will Smith,) were all far better than the OP who was a complete idiot and heinous troll.
I agree. The ending sucked.
i liked the movie.
funny thing about the ending is that they redid it. the theatrical ending was a redo after test audiences did not like the original. the planned original is on the current DVD as an alternate ending. just an fyi kind of thing.
