Sunday ride: Glenoaks, Verdugo, Angeles Crest to Red Box, turn around, right on Angeles Forest Hwy, Big Tujunga, Sunland to Glenoaks.

10:30am start time, 58-62 the entire route, Red Box was very nice. Sunny with just a little bit of headwinds at the bottom on BT.

Traffic was moderate and only one diprod on Foothill near the 210 underpass in a faded red Nissan pickup yelled at me. Man, I wish they would stop so I could practice some Jujutsu moves on their sorry beings. I got this thing with one hand where you can make a person bend over and the more they struggle this worse it gets. Or just one good shot to the shins with my cleats...I know that one hurts cause I've done it to myself...

All in all, looks like News Years is going to be good riding day for you guys who can get up there. Pretty good, pretty good.

The earlier the better tomorrow. NOAA has the high at Wilson of 58 at 11am then falling to 44 quickly. I bet it won't get that warm on the north side where the road is. Hell, it was cold coming down from there 2 months ago:D I'm sticking to AC, it's gonna be windy on Big T. I love starting out the Vertical Year on a climbing note, Happy New Year.:)

Are you going for another vertical double metric, Bob?

Yeah...the pain of all that climbing still fresh in your memory, huh? I suspect you'll get bitten by the same bug as last year and you'll do it. ;)
