Southern California - Reseda to San Diego, done/pics

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Ride was owned, 40-60 degree weather the whole way there was too cold for me but with enough clothes it was possible.
Coined phrases during the ride
"LA JOLLAAAAAAAA"
"It's a ways"(this meant anywhere between 5 miles to 75 miles lol)
"This ride aint NOOOoooo Joke"(after mile 140 and pitch dark...this ride started to hurt)
here are the pics, i dont write long stories, it was fun and ****

All the other men on here are so going to boo me, but you are so handsome, Ovo. When you're around 30 years old, you're going to be a considerable force with the women. ;)
Good job!

Well, I have a history of mothering Ovo (much to his chagrin, I'm sure), so the thought of Mrs. Robinsoning him doesn't work. But I like to compliment him. He's shier in person than on here. Like I said, I predict that once he hits his thirties...;)

Sigh. You men are so silly with that. Look it, ALL of you wear spandex, ride in packs, fiddle with your tubes and brag about your overpiced stems to each other while out riding.
Just sayin'...:D

Trips for 2008 are
LA to San Francisco
LA to San Diego.
The San Diego will be tough because we cant take the highway, have to take all sorts of side sstreet ****.
both of those are planned for summer. I aint riding through the COLD desert.
they'll be multi day trips

they'll be multi day tripsA couple suggestions:
1) Start in San Fran and ride down. The winds are much more favorable and it's easier to take pics coming down the west side of the roads.
2) To Vegas in summer? Are you nuts? It was 118 degrees last time I drove to Vegas in the summer! I really hope by summer you mean nothing later than May, or else I'll want to know where to send the flowers.

well its cold in the winter, we havent really planned the Vegas one but we are definitely going to do that one. but it is going to be a LONG TRIP to vegas.
I already rode from San Fran to LA, i want to try the other route!! :) but that one is up in the air for now.
I signed up for Death ride lottery too next year
