 I've picked up a lugged Nishiki Olympic frame and I need to know if anyone knows what bottom bracket this frame may use. English or Italian?
Thanks

It would be extremely unusual for this to be Italian. If the R side is R hand
thread and the L side L hand thread then it is definitely English. Measure the width of the BB shell: should be either 68 or 70mm, usually 68, but check.
Steve

Addendum: should have said 68 not 70 doh..... Steve

Unless it has been stripped, bored out to 36mm, and rethreaded [remotely possible, but highly unlikely], your Olympic DEFINITELY has ISO/British BB threading, 1.37"x24TPI, which may be marked on your BB cups. As Steve noted, the fixed cup unscrews CLOCKWISE. You can easily measure your frame's BB shell width (edge-to-edge excluding cups), but it is almost definitely 68mm; 70mm is more typical of Italian BBs.
