Road Bike Racing - Can you say who this rider is?

An aunt wrote to me on a Chistmas card of the son of a friend of her daughter who just turned pro last year. His family is from the Isle of Man, between England and Ireland. She said he rode the Tour of Califonia last year, also the TdF, won a medal in China and qualified for the Olympics. If she has the info straight, can anyone say who this rider is? Because of the (very distant) family connection I'd like to be able to follow his career. Thanks for any help!

mark cavendish is the only manxman i know who's pro.

he's had a great rookie year, but comes across as a bit of prat at the moment.

I vaguely remember an Isle of Man comment from the TdF coverage, but sorry, can't help.

But my boss's wife's friend is friends with Frankie Andreu's wife. We're totally inseparable, F.A. and I. Or we've never met, I can't remember.
