I'm looking for pictures of a bike that was posted here a few months ago--it was from pedalmafia, i think it was an Anchor. It had a white trispoke front with black stars, a black and white star pattern saddle, a blue ano BMX stem, and risers. It was iridescent blue. Can anyone point me to it?

Other than the obvious point of the saddle angle, I think the stem bothers me the most. Why try to match some annodized bmx stem with a unique chameleon blue like that? Just get a black road/track stem on there and it would look so much better. That and the fork looks like it's made of little aluminum toothpicks.

i like that frame a lot. too bad the owner is an idiot. fix the seat, flip the stem and throw some drops on there and you have a proper whip.
i can't get behind chunky frames with skinny forks
I dig the stars on that wheel.

i wish he had the oem anchor fork on there as well. i think he's using a threaded to threadless adaptor stem

^^There are more than a few pics of the cat that owns that bike on flickr. For some reason he always seems to ride in huge hiking boots. Whatever works for him though...

Exactly, correct on both accounts.

poor seat angle for pictures seems to be a theme on bikes from japan =P
i honestly think it's just for pictures as i would imagine you would slide off if u tried to actually ride it lol
like this: (imho it's a sick build and honestly i would love to own it, but he just had to match the seat angle to his stem angle lol)

When will people learn that bikes like the Anchor aren't made for risers? That's a bike that should be ridden in circles on a wooden track.

I love that Anchor frame so much. I have no problem with people riding whatever they want on the street, but seriously, how much money do you need to be making before you can afford to risk a frame like that in traffic?

Oh really? I heard they were called track bikes and they usually have drop bars on them.
Is that true?
