Last year I rode my first charity ride, the Tour de Cure for the American Diabetes Association. Great experience and great organization.
This year, it is really looking like my wife has Lyme Disease. And the bad part is that is looks like she is in later stages. It is not a good situation.
So, I got to thinking that there might be some charity rides for Lyme Disease support. Especially with all the mountain bikers on these forums.
For the record, we are just learning about Lyme but sadly it seems that so are most doctors and the CDC. It is the fastest growing infectious disease in our country. There is a documentary being produced on this horrible disease. The web site is here: http://www.openeyepictures.com/
