is there anything i can use as a safe alternative to tire levers, ive lost mine and need to change a tube.

a wooden spatula maybe.
try to work the tire like you are installing a tubular on a rim and see if you get enough slack at one place on the rim to roll it off with palm side of your knuckles.

The last time I used a tire lever was to pry a Belgian-taped and glued tubular off a rim.
Most tire/rim combos can be done by hand. Some Campy rims and Continental tires can be more resistant to manual removal, in my experience

screwdriver. be careful, or do it by hand, though I've used a whole lot of different flat ish things to remove tires. be creative.

Your lbs should have a set of plastic levers for about $3.

Just go get more levers, screwdrivers tend to poke holes in tubes with my experience, maybe I just suck. The spoon sounds promising.

When I need things to change, I find that yelling at them works well. If that doesn't work, sometimes crying will.
Or just get anything flat and not sharp. You've got to have silverware in that house somewhere. Don't use a car/house key because they'll bend or break and then you're fux0red when you get back to your car/house.

with screwdrivers u definitely run a risk of punching the tube, but then again im not known for a subtle touch.

screwdriver? I usually am all about using the wrong tool for the job, but have never had a positive result with a screwdriver, if I don't blow the tube, the rim gets a gouge, or vice-versa.

Usually if I use a screwdriver I gaffer tape it so its no longer sharp, though I have successfully done the job without taping it.

Anything of similar size that stiff enough to work as a lever will do the job. Just be careful not to scratch the rim.

stopped carrying levers after i got good removing tires w/my hands. armadillos can be a problem; butter knives work well in a pinch.

Small sized box-end wrenches or the box end of a combination wrench works great for me.
