BMX - What bike do ya ride?

I have a Chrome 1998 GT Power Series 1.0 bike (7005 Aluminum frame) with many upgrades including 3-peice GT crank and a cool looking GT front sprocket. Only ridden a dozen times and everythings in brand new condition. Even the AA pro tires!!!

I only use this bikes to casually ride around at night on the streets. No jumping or tricks ever performed on this bike and it will stay that way!

My son rides a Giant Annihilator Jr. (10"), and I ride the Ranier (I know, not a BMX bike...see my post about suggesting a bike for me...).



P.S. Funny that cities won't allow bikes in parks...when I bet, statistically, that skaters have more injuries...

I actualy ride 2 bikes #1a R&R bmx street bike #2 a 2002 21 speed mt (mongoose full suspention)

Currently nothing. My CYC Stormer MX is in need of re-chroming, and my SKYWAY Tuffwheels II need re-built. I have a Mongoose Decade on the way to take place of the Stormer MX until I can get it in. Actually, if you count quads/atvs, I have a 2002 Yamaha 660R Raptor that's fully functional.

I just got a new Street bike :) like a hour ago its a haro Mirra 540 air 2002 model. Got it for 225 not bad huh.

I also Have a BMX mike a older Hyper Metro with 3 peice (forget the name but its a good one) Also has slam bars

Doesn't your pedal have an allen key socket in the end? most do
If not you might try this.
Put the biggest nuts you can fit, one on either side of the crank arm against whats left of the pedal boss.
Then sandwich the whole thing real tight in a big metal jaw vice.
If you turn the crank arm the pedal boss should stay where it is and the crank arm should start to turn off the threads. You will need to re-clamp every now & then.


This is strictly last ditch but it has worked for me:D

It's been good to me so far.

She's gettin torn up pretty well.. bent spokes, a few good dents, dents in the cranks.. the goods. hehe.

back in 1987 i owned a 1987 gt pro freestyle tour chrome and black.... now i have a dyno air frame and fork and i will be putting various items on it,,:love:

well i am new here. i just got my 2nd bike, last one was stolen, which really sucked cus it was a goodbike to me.
old- 97 gt pro performer, 1664 boozer wheelset, macniel miron stem, gt 4 piece bars, pac man forks, mega nuke sprocket and a 1664 fat chain. also had a pig 3 pc crank. laminated dropouts cut for 14mm, extra strong dropout welds, and chainstay gusset. (courtesy of my dad)

now for the new- Macniel miron frame, fork, ruben stem, pegs, grind sproket(39). 1664 winsor bars, hubs laced up to supa g rims (36 front, 48 rear), fat chain, headset,64 bar ends, seat post clamp, and beaver trap pedals. Primo seat, post , grips, and powerbite 3 pc cranks.

I ride a Haro F3 an a highly reccomend it to any body interested in pretty much any type of BMXing

I saw the new GT's at Acadamy, $199. I wasn't impressed. Seemed like a shop price for dept store quality.

I'm all about the old skewl bikes, and am currently sporting a hybrid. It's an old '82 Diamondback Viper frame, CW handlebars, white skyway mag wheels, white odyessy barefoot tires, a white viscount dominator seat, with new skewl pedals, and a DK cutout cross chainwheel.

terrible one barcode frame, with black T-1 forks with primo cranks, primo pedals, primo brake lever, DK hubs, hula hoop rims, black spokes, 2-hip lockdown stem, kink low-life bars, solid grim reaper grips, haro bash guard sprocket. the frame is tan, all the parts except the stem and rims are black. rims are chrome, stem is polished. no pegs. pedal and sprocket grinds are where it's at.

I ride a federal division.

I ride a Specialized Fuse I ...... well i dont ride it "yet" ....i pick it up on thrusday from the shop :-) All stock parts (duh...) smooth pegs, no ridges.:beer:
