I started out with cycling clothes wearing 5X shorts from Aerotech. I am now in a XL set of bibs :D

Looking sharp!
Wish I could look like that in bibs!
I got some for xmas and they are nice but they are way to long! (I have really short legs) So I hope when my muscles get bigger they will move up more!
Excellent. I am almost in a 2x from a 5X.

Xlarge? I can't get anything on under XX (shorts). Never could get comfy in bibs cause the straps seem so short at 6'1.
How tall are you Tom? I thought you were like 6'4. X large?:D

I seem to have gained a bit of height, went from 6'0" to 6'2.75". Better posture from the weight loss and core strengthening? I'm actually lighter than I've been since I was about 15 now :D
Looks like you've got a bit more in the shoulders than I do.....I've been intentionally reducing muscle mass in the upper body. I want to drop below the 200 point to around 170-180, so I needed to.

I went from XL back to L this year!
But I was 15 lbs. short of making 200 and now I'm back up to 220-225.
I'll have to get with the program and make a final push after I move.

I have this problem with my large bibs.
But on the other hand, it does keep that pad nice and snug.

I really think it's just better posture. My back is straighter.....less slouching, better core strength. :D

Could be that shedding the weight allowed the discs to return to an un-compressed position, too.

I'm sure going to try! :D
East Hill, as my belly weight dropped there came to be less of a sway back appearance to my spine. It could also be some decompression of the discs as well, I suppose.

Tom, those photos of you starting out riding with your Oxygen tank to where you are now are nothing short of inspirational. Congratulations on your whole life turnaround. ;)

If you do get down to that weight tell me that you will get a TT bike and seriously punish the skinny little guys. Or at least do some track racing or something with what will be a pretty ridiculous power/weight ratio.

You do look pretty aero, but I think you need some kind of fairing for your beard. Then you'd be cutting through the air like nobody's business.
Congrats on the shrinkage. You look great. I really need to get some bibs soon. They look so comfy. I get tired of the tight waistband when I ride. Anyway, good luck getting down to 180. I'm trying to get below 220 this year, so we'll see how that goes.

That's the ticket right there... beard fairings. Now why didn't I think of that. ;)
