Foo - any mobile version of the bikeforums.net?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm just wondering since my internet at home is the "unsecured wireless network" variation and thus this makes me perfer to use my blackberry pearl unlimited internet time for such things. For example, I'm a part of a blackberry forum (http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com/) that have their own launcher and some kind of adaptive site that works for mobile browsing. The thing is, the formatting on bikeforums.net is wonky for mobile browsing so I wonder if anybody have any blackberry know-how of how to get around this and be able to read and post on the forum via my pearl? This could be extremely useful for when I finally managed to go on my touring trip (or whenever i lose my internet or needs emergency bike info) and be able to keep up with everyone on here.

uuh, I'm sorry I don't understand. If I become a paid member, I will get the feature that I'm asking for? Is there a page somewhere with explanations of what we gets (those privileges) if we become paid members?

Site is very easy to browse when you get a paid membership. The page will be reformatted. It's actually the best formatted site I know of, one of the reasons I post here more often than not.

since it seems the formatting is better for paid membership, could somebody posts screenshot of the paid version of the site formatting? I'm a bit curious to see how it look.

Paid membership still does not give a "mobile" version. Sorry, I don't think there has been any thought of a mobile version that I know of.

Hey fellow Stacker! (I'm also on the Stacks under the s/n cnunez1987).
If you want to get around this, you can try downloading Opera Mini to your phone. It allows you to view entire internet pages and zoom in on the sections you wish to read. It also compresses text in the lowest zoom level so that it aligns itself with the screen. Also automatically detects fields and links and hovers over them. Extremely nice solution and a great response to iPhone's Safari app (which is actually really good).
+1 on Opera Mobile, although I'm using it with a Windows Mobile based phone. As an alternative, there is a Web browser called plusmo, though I personally have not used it.
As an alternative, you can grab a RSS program and read from BF's feed for quick glancing at titles of threads.

Awesome! Thanks for the opera mini suggestion. I'm using it right now to post here from my blackberry.
Now, what about the bikeforum RSS feed that I've heard about? I'm not real experienced with RSS especially the one for mobiles. Is there any apps that I would have to download to see it? And how much of the forums will that let me see? As you can see, I'm really curious about the rss feed right now so I hope somebody could help enlighten me.

Here is what it looks like on my screen for a paid membership. Sorry the picture is so large, I have a 20" widescreen.

What is the difference in the paid and unpaid format? Mine looks just like that and I don't have that fancy red star.

A mobile version of the site would have been nice last night when I didn't have any electricity. I tried to load up the site on my old Nokia, and it ran out of memory a few seconds into trying to download the front page.
Not that it would have been much better or that I would use it, but it would have entertained me for a few seconds. :p
