Seems pretty calm now.

I delivered mail out in that stuff today. The worst thing about cycling near my route would be trying to hold your line in the wind and rain, and being smacked from the side by a branch blown off a tree and across a 4 lane road.

Much calmer coming home, but turning at intersections without power/traffic lights in the dark really kind of sucked....

Coming home was cake. Hopefully it holds through some of tomorrow.

It seems to be clearing up. We'll see how it is tomorrow. Maybe I'll do a quick jaunt up Montebello, depending on how it looks in the morning.

Sometime during the storm my 90 pound barbecue grill got blown over.

I rode 5 miles to work and 15 miles back. Mostly had a nice tail wind :D I had a bad head wind for about 5 blocks though. A lady politely pointed out that it was a windy day (well she yelled it out of a truck but she yelled politely :o )

Good thing my skin is waterproof :)

Just came back from Montebello. Nice little 23 mile ride. Wow, it's tough when you haven't done any real hill rides since November! Still had some strong gusts through Stevens Canyon, but not the 50-60 mph like on Friday. There were still some other riders out there. Good to know there are some other crazy maniacs like me out there.

Today is actually better than yesterday. Still same amount of debris, but at least it wasn't sprinkling during the ride. Still, it got the bike really messy.

Nope. Gave the mountian a break, it's getting sick of me : ) did manage to get my 30 mile Daley city loop today though. Golden Gate park was pretty trashed. South drive was like riding in a cross race. I took a chance with the weather. I'm going batty with the indoor trainer...bored bored bored!

I so wanted to commute Friday, but the weather got the best of me. I commute from Daly City to SF (by Japan town) a 30ish mile round trip commute. I did it the next day though. Lots of fun, I felt like I was mountain biking with all the debris and downed trees on the bike lanes. I hope everyone a safe ride, I know you're all crazy riding on this type of weather, but do be careful out there. I'll be out there with all you crazies, you just might see me zipping through with my electric bike.
