I find that each fall I am greeted with the smack of large bugs on my face and the unforgettable taste as I take a shot of Gatorade. I was thinking on my ride today what season do other people think is the worst. I find that during the fall I do not need Gue or Power Bars. I get all of my protein and carbs for the little critter I inadvertently dine on every 10 miles or so.

It would be hard to beat the bugs right now in TX. The love bugs are so thick right now on the country roads that in some patches you have to hold your hand over your nose and mouth to keep them from being sucked up on every breath.

The love bugs are swarming in South Alabama also. Terrible.
