I'm looking at a 2004 cannondale Road tandem and the sizing is M/S. If I am 5'11" with 32" inseam, do you have any idea how close the fit will be ?
We have the L/S in the monutain version of that bike and it looks like [from the geometry specs] the seat tube is 1" shorter and top tube is 1" shorter in the Medium. Is there enough adjustability that I could fit it ?

Anyone out there my size on a Cannondale ?
Thx for any input you can offer !

I am 5'11" with a 30" inseam and my wife is 5"3", we are riding a Large/Small RT1000 and it fits great.

I'm 5-11 1/2" and wear 32 inseam pants and the Large is none too big. You may be able to swing a medium if you jack the seat post way out and get a long stem, but I would doubt that is the "correct" size.
Good Luck.

Actually, the med may be a good fit. I'm 5'10" and my wife and I ride a M/S. I'm 54 years old and I don't like beeing leaned forward too much. My bars are just a bit lower than the seat, and I'm glad the reach is where it is. I still have seat travel if I wanted higher.

I'm 6'2" and the wife is 5'3" and we ride an X/S. I think if I were to do it again, I'd do a L/S.

I think that it would fit, you might just need a longer stem. You are right in the border between L and M, I would venture that it is only a matter of personal preference, try taking it out the M/S for a long ride and see how it feels. In the margins conventional road bike wisdom is to go for the smaller bike.

I'm 6'1" and my wife is 5'10" and we ride the J/L. Fits perfect w/ a slightly shorter (100mm vs. 120mm) stem.
