Hello,
I will try to do a Century a month thing this year, so I would like to find a good source for organized centuries. I would consider the ride if it is within a 100 mile radius from the Silicon Valley.
So, anybody knows of anything in January, February, and so on?
Also, is somebody interested in Joining me on this endeavor?

Check here for the monthly list of centuries (http://bbcnet.com/RideCalendar/RideListDate.asp).
I guess if you miss a month, theres always a double.
Good luck.

Velogirls.com maintains a good list (http://www.velogirls.com/resources/centuries.php) of NorCal(and SoCal) organized centuries.
Not much meets your 100-mile radius rule until April, unfortunately.
If you're willing to ride a little longer than 100 miles to get your century in, consider the San Francisco Randonneurs 200K on Jan. 26th. It's a 125-mile ride starting and ending at the Golden Gate Bridge, going out to the Point Reyes Lighthouse. It's limited to 100 riders and there is only nominal support, so it's not quite the same as a traditional organized century, but still a good opportunity to do a nice route with a lot of other riders. You can find more info here (http://www.sfrandonneurs.org/SFR-2008-ACP-event-dates.htm).

There is a 200k brevet later this month. There is a thread on it already.
Notice all of the centuries in the beginning of the year are in So Cal.

You know, you don't have to do an organized century. You can always do an unsupported one to maintain your goal.
If so, post it. You never know. It could turn into a BF event.

Hey, that's an idea. CAM NC BF event. Is that enough acronyms? (and it does not stand for North Carolina!)

+1.
Just ride over to Hwy1, then down to Santa Cruz for a very reasonable century.
Any time you want to do this, just pm me, I'll join you.

On the Mt. Tam BF ride, I turned that into a century. Granted, I was slower than a snail, and msincredible was kind enough to wait for me, I still turned it into a century.

I have done solo rides in the past supported by a pro team sponsor, 7-Eleven.
