Jerome K. Jerome's "Three Men on the Bummel" describes three Englishmen at the beginning of the last century on a bicycle tour of Germany.
Dorothy L. Sayer's "Five Red Herrings" has the murderer use a bicycle to establish his alibi.
Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Solitary Cyclist" and one other story whose hame I don't recall both have bicycles as central to the plot.
Can anyone else come up with any other cycling fiction?

Sorry mang, it was too easy.
But here's some more

I remember reading Two Wheels when it first came out. I even bought a Haven Pharmecuticals team jersey and socks back in '97. Still wear 'em from time 2 time.

i like this quote:
"... DESPITE the undeniable fact that bicycle riding
among women is not so popular now as during its fad period a few years ago..."
-- The Woman's Book of Sports: A Practical Guide to Physical Development by Jahial Parmly Paret, 1901, page 76

The Rider by Tim Krabbe & The Yellow Jersey by Ralph Hurne
Both are great reads
A Bicycle of Cathay by Frank R. Stockton. It was written in 1889. It's about a guy who sets out on a bicycle tour, but only makes it as far as the next town before falling in love.

I picked up a copy of Derailleur by Greg Moody at the library tonight.
If it's any good I will post a note.
Can we plug our own books?
THE NIGHT MEN by Keith Snyder (me) starts with a bike ride over the Brooklyn Bridge in the snow.

A character in william Gibson's Virtual Light named chevette was a bike messenger. The bike had a very unusual anti-theft system. now that you've got me thinking about it, I'm gonna have to pull it down for a reread. I love this book.
The Wheels of Chance by HG Wells. A diversion from HG Wells' usual science fiction where the main characters are all riding on bikes and their adventures.
