Over the past two months I have become addicted to BF and would like to subscribe or donate to get rid of the ads. However I can't find the link to do so for the life of me could someone please help me find this link which is probably located in plain site.

Go to your User Control Panel. Go to 'Miscellaneous'. Click on 'Paid Subscriptions'. Go to dropdown menu under 'Cost'.

$25 for a lifetime!

You're welcome.

It will probably take less than a day for Brian to find this, and get you a red star once you've paid through PayPal (that's how you know who is a paid member, by the way :) ).

Let me revise that to 'under six hours' :) .

Congratulations!

Brian had your star up and running within six hours of my post!

There's a competition going on in Foo for a mystery prize, and possibly more mystery prizes later...:D .

I get the feeling that they really don't like us to pay any more because we don't see the ads.

Actually, Brian says there's possibly a plan to enable paid members to view ads if we wish. My husband (Sammilove) isn't a paid member, so sometimes when he's on the laptop I'll take over and click through, or I will log myself out and use the PC.

And, there are a few people who have paid memberships (T-Mar, Michigander) but who prefer to see the ads, so there is a special member group just for them :) .

I don't know how much the owners get for a click through, but it's probably not more than a few cents. So, you'd have to figure the economics of $25 upfront, or a few cents per person over how many years?
