I have tried to do a search but can't come up with the directions on how to post a picture here, and wanted to know if anybody can help?
Not only that, but how do I post my desktop here? Do I have to find where I got my desktop image from and then put that on something like 'Photobucket' and post it here or is there a more direct route?
Remember, I'm old so if you tackle this please be concise and specific.

get an account at photobucket or some other hosting site
upload pictures
copy and paste in the code that starts with [ IMG ] (no spaces but I wasn't sure it would show up if I didn't change it a bit)
Old?? What's that? I'm 63 and I'm not old. ;)
Now That the "old" situation is cleared up, read this.

Thanks for answering the first part of what I was asking. I will try what you folks have suggested.
How do I post my 'Desktop'? Do I have to go to the site where I got the original picture or is there a better way?

Why would anyone want to see your desktop?

Press the button above your "Insert" button on your keyboard that says "Print screen / sys req", then you can go into paint or photoshop and press paste and your desktop will be in your clipboard (it will paste)

That puts it onto your clipboard, and then you can paste it into an image processing program (even Windows' Paint will do) and save it on your HD. Save it as a jpeg, not a bmp, so that it won't be a huge file.
