Time for the 17th Annual Madison Bike Swap Meet, coming up next Saturday, Jan 12th.

I had a blast at last year's, picking up about a dozen odds & ends for around $50. It was very well attended last year.

This are held in many cities, often around this time of the year.

Good reminder. There's one in San Diego soon, if I remember right. I'll have to sniff around.

I keep looking for a good swap meet in Georgia, but no luck finding one so far.

There are so many possible wisecracks for this line! In the spirit of New Year's Resolutions, I'm going to behave, however. For a little while. :D

Yeah, it's just too easy. The Diego's would have been all over it, however. :p

Bumping this up as a reminder to forum members in south & central Wisconsin, in case they are interested.

Swap meet is tomorrow, Sat, Jan 12. You've got to pay around $12 to get in, unless you ride a bike or walk in and save the $5 parking fee.

Hi,

:Start Shameless Plug: If you're in SoCal, my club has a pretty good swap meet in conjunction with our track race in a couple of weeks (http://www.socalcycling.com/RaceAnn/2008/LightningVeloCyclingBoth.pdf). Parking is free but there is an admission fee -- I can't remember what it costs though. :End Shameless Plug:
