Last year my wife and I participated in Bikeflorida, a leisurely, 7 day cycling event held each year in a different part of the state. It was a great way to get a head start on the Southern Ontario cycling season with distances for the week totaling 500+ km on very flat, quiet roads. Not a lot of coasting for those of us used to hills, but scenic; a very well organized tour, great meal plan, excellent support team and at a reasonable cost.

We've signed on to go again. Here are the details; http://www.bikeflorida.org/html/spring-event.html

Sounds fun.... What is the accommodation, camping, or hotels? (I admit I couldn't figure it out at all from the Web site.)

Your choice of accommodation is available. We camped, which we were used to and were very comfortable, but many arranged B&B's or motels. There is also "indoor camping" which we'd not seen before. Stake out an area of the gym for your air mattress, cot, thermarest or the like, but no tent, and the lights go out at 10 p.m. All very civilized and quite popular. I would guess there would be 100 people "camping" in the gym and ear plugs would be a must!
