I scored this hub in a junk pile and I believe it is a Phil Wood hub. Can anyone confirm this from the picture? Also, it has no spacers that go over the axle and inside of the drop out. I look on the Phil website, but it doesn't seem like these are for sale. Ideas?http://pages.google.com/edit/aaron.j.walters/photo-1.jpg/photo-1-full;init:.jpg

I have a Phil Wood that looks a lot like that. It's an older PW hub.

Looks like a 1980s era Phil Wood BMX hub.

Almost looks like an old White Industries, but that'd be stamped on the hub body . . .

Thanks for all of your feedback. I took your advice Soil Sampler and emailed Brent at Phil Wood better pics to see if he can confirm or deny my buried treasure. I also asked about getting some of the spacers that go between the bearing and the dropouts. The hub does nothing without them. Anyone else tried to find the special spacers or made a work around?
It looks very much like an American Classic from late 80's early 90's (maybe better pics would help). I have one at home and you're right, the one you have is missing the bearing covers/spacers.
It could be a Bullseye hub as well but I only remember their rear hubs, not the front ones.

Bullseye are 3 piece hubs
Are you sure it's even a bicycle hub? Hubs like that have been used on wheelchairs and industrial carts for decades.
