I have a chance to get a one time good deal on a NR trinewt wireless for 275.00..

Anyone using one and what is the true runtimes for high and low.. Niterider states 3:30 and 7 hours..

I would love to have a light that is good for a solid 3-4 hours

any input would be greatly appreciated..

my true runtimes are 3 hours on high (0 C) and then limp mode home for at least 1/2 hour

on warm nights I haven't had it dip to reserve at 3 hours, it lasts longer.

if you want long run times there shouldn't be a problem running the light
on low for a while to maximize battery life. the thing is pretty bright
in both power modes.

most of the roads here would only need a low mode, only trail riding and some darker streets would need high mode.. I just wanted to make sure runtime was in the ballpark. It seems to be a universally well received lighting system.. I would be using this in conjuction with a p3d for a helmet light, which gives me 3.5 hours in high mode..
