I have been cryun about the weather here in Tn. rain cool not the best riding weather. Then I read the post from up north snow bitter cold stuck in the house a week at a time. I have nothing to cry about. I can always get in one and most of the time two rides a week. The early dark makes it hard sometimes but I am a truely blessed man. I need to stop cryun and start ridun. Truth is the bad weather never bothered me much this is my first year riding. I have allways been a hunter and still am. Winter is my time outdoors I never got cold till I lost 50lbs now I freeze. And 12 or 15 mph on a bike just makes it colder. I am a skinny wimp. But I am going to bundle up {that is east Tn. for lots of layers} and ride. I hope everone gets to ride soon.

18 Mph! If it is a tail wind that would be OK. If a head wind it would be like riding up hill all the time.

Want to feel like a wimp? I crewed for Rob Lucas in RAAM 2 Summers back and he rode across from Durango Colorado to Central KS in a day against 30-40 MPH headwinds. 277 miles in 17 hrs under those conditions.

supposed to be almost 60 here today. I've got some time off work so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.
